Ole Reliable

Want to get to the airport on time? Call me.
Need someone to bring the main course to a function? Call me.
Need someone to pick you up from work? Call me

I'm the 'go to person'.

I can honestly say that I don't mind being able to do for others...if I can. I'm not going to break the bank or run all the red lights either! If I can do it, I do it.

My only question is....who do I call? Ghostbusters?

I'm going to have to rethink this in '08.

It's okay to be the "go to" person as long as that's the person you want to be. Sounds like there's some resentment there. My husband always tells me my patients are calling or that "I'm hanging out shingle." But it's okay because I'm that person for my friends. Then I have friends who know that they are that person for me. As long as you have the balance. We all need to be there for someone and to have someone be there for us. Once the boundaries are set, however, nothing ever gets abused. Good luck in 08 making it work for you.
